It is very rare that self-regulatory association reaches 65 years of commitment of the industry.
On Tuesday, 13th September 2022 we celebrated what has been achieved thanks to the support and contribution of our members, the joint efforts of voluntary work of the board members, and the leadership guided by 13 presidents of our association.
LFMA had the honour to have as special guests HE Yuriko Backes, Luxembourg Minister of Finance and Yves Mersch, former ECB Executive Board Member and former Governor of the Central Bank of Luxembourg.
The event was accompanied by a panel discussion on Gender Finance conducted by Claudia Segre, President and Founder of GLOBAL THINKING FOUNDATION and Karin Scholtes Global Head of People, Culture and Communication of Banque Internationale à Luxembourg.
In a context marked by geopolitical risk, the event continued with “Rhymes and Reasons” presented by Alastair Newton, former Diplomat of the British Foreign Service.
