The fourth edition of LFMA’s Forward Financial Thinking Forum, held on 7 October 2026 at Banque de Luxembourg, brought together financial professionals and distinguished guests to exchange views on global markets, professional values and geopolitics. The programme featured three engaging panels: Daniele Antonucci on global markets and investment strategies, Education in Focus: Knowledge, Ethics and Values, and Alastair Newton on geopolitics and the challenges facing Europe. The Forum also marked an important milestone with the launch of the Luxembourg Awards, a new LFMA initiative recognising excellence and long-standing contributions to the Luxembourg financial centre. The first award was presented to Franck Hebeisen, Managing Director of ACI France, in recognition of his longstanding support for LFMA and its community. The second award, Bank of the Year 2026, went to Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Luxembourg, recognising its 50 years of presence in Luxembourg, its systemic importance and its contribution to financing the European economy. As LFMA approaches its 70th anniversary in 2027, the Forum reaffirmed its commitment to expertise, dialogue and the continued development of Luxembourg’s financial marketplace.
