Agenda of the EGM (starting at 18:00):
- Chairman’s welcome address
- Review of 2024 activities
- Preview of 2025 initiatives
- Financial report & budget presentation
- Statutory Auditors’ report
- Full amendment and restatement of LFMA Statutes to comply with the terms of the law of 7 August 2023 regarding non-profit associations and foundations, as amended from time to time, and voting
- Enhancing your expertise with ACI FMA Education by Rui Correia, Chief Executive Officer and Chair of Board of Education at ACI FMA.
- Miscellaneous
Purpose of the EGM:
We are convening this Extraordinary General Meeting to, inter alia, amend and restate our statutes to comply with the new legal requirements of the Law of 7 August 2023 on non-profit associations and foundations, as amended from time to time. We extend our sincere thanks to Grant Thornton Luxembourg for their valuable assistance in this process.
In accordance with legal obligations, a quorum of 67% of members (present or represented) is required, and ¾ of votes in favour are necessary to approve the amendments.
If you are unable to attend, please complete the proxy form attached below and return it via email to secretariat@lfma.lu or give it to a proxy holder before the start of the meeting. Should the quorum not be reached, a second EGM will be scheduled for Thursday, 2nd October 2025, requiring only ¾ approval from members present or represented.
The EGM will be followed by our Forward Financial Thinking Forum, and a walking dinner will be served from 20:00.
